KATIE DIVALERIOKatie, the owner of Level Up Pediatric Speech Therapy, is a licensed speech language pathologist who is passionate about working with children and helping them become functional and effective communicators. She has extensive experience working with children of all ages.
Katie's areas of expertise include expressive and receptive language delays, articulation/phonology disorders, and feeding therapy. She is PROMPT & Talk Tools trained and has a special interest in motor speech disorders and Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). Katie continuously pursues continuing education opportunities to expand her scope of knowledge and researches new, evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Katie has been formally recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association with the Award for Continuing Education (ACE). The ACE is a formal recognition of professionals who have demonstrated their commitment to lifelong learning by earning significant continuing education hours. Katie received her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from Northwestern University. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a credentialed Illinois Early Intervention provider and initial evaluator. |
